Altamar is a small remote team that designs, builds and supports software for other businesses. We are not hiring at the moment, but we like meeting people who would fit. Here is how we work, and how to say hello.

Engineers talk to clients
No middlemen. The people building a product are on the call, in the thread and in the planning, so nothing gets lost in translation.
One team, the whole product
Discovery, design, build, launch and support sit in one team. You see how your work behaves after it ships, and you fix it.
English and Spanish
Our clients work in both languages. Being comfortable in one or both helps, and calls and writing happen in either.
What we look for
The kind of person who tends to do well here.
- Explains technical things plainly to people who are not technical.
- Likes finishing things, and looking after them once they are live.
- Is comfortable working remotely and in writing.
- Is curious about the businesses we build for, not only the code.
