Privacy Policy

What personal information altamar.dev collects, why, who we share it with and how to ask us to delete it.

This policy explains what personal information EBSY LLC, doing business as Altamar (“Altamar”, “we”), collects through altamar.dev and when you contact us, why we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because the site collects very little.

#What we collect

  • When you book a call. Your name, work email, a short note about what you want to build, and the time you pick.
  • When you subscribe or download a resource. Your email address, and which newsletter or resource you asked for.
  • When you email us. Your address and whatever you write.
  • When you apply to work with us. What you send us: usually a CV or profile link and a short note.
  • Basic technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not ask for more than we need, and please do not send us sensitive information such as health or payment card details.

#Cookies and tracking

The site does not set cookies today, and it does not use advertising or third-party analytics. We do not sell personal information. If we add analytics later, we will choose a privacy-friendly tool and update this page first.

#How we use it

  • To reply to you, schedule and hold the call you booked, and prepare for it.
  • To send the newsletter or resource you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any email.
  • To consider your application, and to keep it for future openings if you say that is fine.
  • To keep the site working and secure.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Where the law asks for a legal basis, it is usually your request or consent (forms, newsletter), our legitimate interest in running and securing the business, or the need to meet a contract with you.

#Who we share it with

We share personal information only with providers who help us run the site and our business, under terms that limit what they can do with it. Today that means:

  • website hosting and delivery;
  • email delivery and newsletter tools;
  • scheduling and video meetings (we hold calls on Google Meet);
  • a customer-relationship tool to track enquiries and projects.

We can tell you which providers we use at any time: ask at hello@altamar.dev. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, and to a successor if the business is sold.

#Client work and Voice AI

When we build or run something for a client, we handle that client’s data on the client’s behalf, under our agreement with them, and only to provide the service. If you are a client’s customer and want to exercise your rights, contact the client first. We will help them respond. If you are a client and need a data processing agreement, ask us.

#International transfers

Altamar is based in the United States and our team works remotely. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers, we use them.

#How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose above, and then delete or anonymise it. Enquiries that do not become projects are removed after they stop being relevant. Contracts and invoices are kept for the period the law requires. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

#Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose. Depending on where you live, such as the EU, the UK, Canada or California, you may have additional legal rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Email hello@altamar.dev. We will reply within a reasonable time and may need to check it is you.

#Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, such as encrypted connections and limited access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

#Children

The site is for businesses and is not aimed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.

#Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the “last updated” date, and tell you directly if the change is significant.
